Ok. I'll admit it, I screwed up a bit on this one. Today, for those of you who don't know (poor souls) was the start of the steam excursion season for the Arcade and Attica R.R. Yes, I said STEAM excursion. If you haven't heard the news thus far, the A & A has returned old #18 to service, and she pulled her first regular excursion trip in 7 years.
Yes, I went. First trip of the day, in fact. I went to great (or at least moderate) lengths, borrowing a DV camera and some additional supplies to tape the trip and catch some additional footage after. That did work out, though I will have to do the transfer of the video footage to my computer to clean up Tuesday.
Unfortunately, I forgot to charge the battery on my regular camera, so no photos this time. Still, It was a great trip, and I had a great time, and there will be videos and photos to share in the future. I'll be posting all that up soon, so keep your eyes open. And next time, I'll actually CHARGE the batteries on my regular camera. I promise.
