... where they should be now...
I'm tired of TV shows called "Where they are now", mostly because they try to act like every person who ever released an album was such a great, promising star. The simple truth is, if they were so great and promising, they would have had more than one album that sparked interest, and they probably would have had material that would have lasted beyond the adversiting campaign of ads hanging in music shops.
I raise a direct example here: The Spice Girls.
Remember them? Well, they were one of those amazing (ha ha) acts that captured the attention of teen girls and boys (actually, the boys were grabbing something else from all that attention stuff) because these were 'young adults' that were showing sassy attitude... or something.
Now admittedly, they had a few albums of material, but the problem they had was that their music wasn't being polished for play by a genuine desire to produce excellent albums, but by music execs who were unable to find actual talent. So they found something that LOOKED good and MOVED good and they could touch up the singing (or croacking) with some computer effects.
Of course, the girls tried to move beyond that at some point and have actual singing careers, but they had problems just with not really knowing music the way they needed to (I think you need more of that... Italian, thing on the... uh... the note... what is it called? Fellatio?)
So I can't tell you much about where they are now... but I can tell you where the "Spice Girls" as a group should be...

I'll tell you what I want: FIND SOME DECENT BANDS TO TALK ABOUT, AND BETTER YET, PRODUCE SOME NEW ONES, TOO.
