The Grand Scheme of Things
Ok. This isn't the official announcement of change yet, but it's a post to announce what's likely going to happen in the next week or two.
I'll be leaving my current full-time job. That much is certain. How soon? Probably next Friday is my last day, if the schedule I expect is kept. Essentially I applied to be a department chair at ITT a bit back and they've given serious consideration to it. So if all goes well (and I've been hinted that it would), then I'll be the chair for the design and multimedia department starting the Monday after that.
The original plan had been to move to Florida, but for reasons I'm not going to bother to go into (cause it's nothing bad and just a matter of sensibility at this point) that didn't happen. So I'll make an official announcement once I get "official" word. But I've been told to expect it by credible sources.
