Hey, look at this, I got up on one morning BEFORE noon. Isn't that amazing? I think I deserve an award or something. Oh well.
I had an instant message waiting for me this morning that pretty much angered me. It was an insult on things I like. Now I know you all are saying "didn't you just quit a message board because someone said something you didn't like?" Yes. I did. But I also didn't cram my thoughts down someone else's throat. I came back to my own board and wrote my feelings here. And I never insult someone for liking a particular brand of music, or TV show, or anything else.

How many people like Metallica and/or Star Wars (for the Metallica ones, I don't mean how many people like their attitude on Napster. I mean their music).
Because said person told me he disliked me and that Star Wars sucked and Metallica was for pussies. Well, I'm not going to escalate a fight on that one. I'll continue to like who and what I like. Call me a pussy, call me a wimp. I understand how some people can be jealous of talent. And I consider 20 years of professional music a sign of talent. Anyway, I'll let it go. If this person doesn't like me, or my tastes in music, that's their perogative on it.
Maybe I'll invite them up to Fredonia... take them back stage at a Sound Services show... mention what the person told me... and then get out of the way as 20 some odd crewers try to explain their viewpoint. I know lots of people that would love to see footage.
